Oxygen 8

What a piece of crap!

Shortly after buying it (new), the pitch bend wheel started sending ghost messages. I learned to cope with this by squeezing the controller in a certain way. Obviously this is retarded. For the record, I have read other people complaining about this.

Recently, however, a new turd has appeared on the horizon. When the usb cable gets wiggled slightly, it disconnects the keyboard from the computer. It reconnects immediately, but the software needs to be restarted before it will recognize the keyboard again.

Avoid at all costs! (Unless you want to buy mine, that is — cheap!)

Wow, that’s surprising — isn’t it the most popular keyboard ever in history or something like that? Crazy.

yeah! I’m losing faith in humanity.

Hopefully mine will be replaced soon — I’m looking at the Korg Microkontrol. So if anybody reading this knows any reasons not to go for that one, please let me know.

Hey man, I bought a MicroKontrol and have been reasonably happy with it. I’m a little disappointed with the key action, but I guess that’s what you get with the mini keyboard. It’s a little on the pricey side, but I was able to get one used.

It works fabulously with Reason, so I imagine you’ll be really pleased with the results in Reaktor.
